Constellation Design Group is currently seeking a Civil Engineer with 5 - 15 years experience interested in working within the water resources design field.  We are a small consulting civil engineering firm specializing in transportation, H/H, and site design and have been in business for more than 40 years. Our clients include MD State Highway, MD Transit Administration, MD Transportation Authority, Baltimore City, Maryland Counties and more.

 

 

Job Requirements:  

BS in Civil Engineering, PE license (emphasis on experience  in transportation and/or water resources).  A successful Water Resources candidate should have a background in stormwater management - knowledge of HEC-RAS and TR-20 is required.  Proficiency with MicroStation and/or AutoCADD is a plus.

 

CDG is looking for a motivated individual who is a self-starter, technically proficient and possesses excellent written and oral communication skills.  As a new CDG Project Engineer/Manager the expectation will be to coordinate daily with upper management, represent the firm professionally at all times, and deal with multiple projects and clients. Part-time or remote employment could be considered.  The successful candidate will exhibit a detailed understanding of multiple key design factors such as:

 

·              Sound engineering practices

·              Municipal regulations and requirements

·              Meeting client dictated criteria and schedules

·              Sensitivity to costs

·              Constructability of the design
